Design Mode

As a Designer I have the natural need to make things better. Every now and then I get a surge of motivation to Design. In this surge I think up of, logos, brochures, flyers, and other collateral that I either want to make or want to redesign. In this surge of inspiration, I put aside all my limitations and think of nothing but the possibilities. This surge is like an adrenaline rush solely for design. Unfortunately this surging moment usually happens late at night when I am falling a sleep in bed. The sad part is that I mostly never act on these magical surges. I usually let them pass so I can fall asleep. When I awake in the morning my super design surge is long gone. It is a very strange occurrence, but I wonder if others have experienced similar feelings. If so have they acted upon them?

I can completely compare to what you’re going through. For me, the only problem is that there might not be A. motivation or B. money. There are tons of projects i would love to do but i am limited to what i can afford.

The same happens to me. However, I try to write them down so that I don’t forget them in the morning.
