Pimp my bus ride

Think of it as too much, but even busses are being decorated today for advertisement purposes. They are glued on all sides of public transportation busses and advertise anything from tooth brushes to the National Geographic. Usually interacting with the bus elements such as the wheels, doors and windows these designs are clever and inventive to say the least. They not only act as good advertisements, but also add aesthetic values to the location they are traveling around.

Admit it, who wouldn’t want to hop on a bus while entering a shark’s mouth or with a DJ spinning on it’s wheel ? The next time you use public transportation watch out. Your bus ride might just get a lot cooler.

I’ve seen pictures of these buses before. I think the best one is the shark bus. It’s very clever that the mouth of the shark open and closes as the bus doors do. Very cool! I just wonder about the process of getting the designs painted/printed/?? on the bus!

I agree with Sarah. My personal favorite is the one with the shark. These kinds of buses with advertisements are everywhere. I actually saw one that had a huge Ed Hardy mural on it when I was pulling into Mason last semester. That one was pretty cool!

Very cool! It would be interesting to know if this way of advertising generated more income into the business.

These designs are very creative, but I would also like to have some of this creativity inside the bus. It gets pretty boring on a 30 min ride bus or more, It would be interesting to see some designs like this on the chair or any part of the bus. That would make it so much fun!
