Survival tips :End of semester stress

Feeling stressed towards the end of the semester? trust me, you are not alone. “According to a 2008 mental health study by the Associated Press and mtvU, 8 in 10 college students say they have sometimes or frequently experienced stress in their daily lives.” Feeling stress towards the end of the semester is normal, but the longer the stress lasts; it begins to affect the mind and body. Here are some things you can do to relieve some stress during finals:


  1. Write down what’s bothering you, might seem like a dumb idea but it works. If you don’t want to write down what’s bothering you can always make a list of all your tasks for the day and prioritize the important ones and get rid of the tasks that are not essential.


  1. Reach out to family or friends and let them know what you are going through, they might surprise you.


      3.Before you do anything you might regret, just walk away and breath.


      4.Exercise, even for 30 mins it should help relieve some stress.


  1. Rest your mind, remove any distractions from your sleep, such as cell phones, television, etc.

    These are great tips you gave out. I always do those peaceful activities and they work. It’s always great to relax from every stressful thing, even from a design-working environment. Without relaxation, you would become chaotic.
