Find your path

After deciding to go into graphic design in high school I never really knew what I wanted for a career. I always told people that I would go into marketing or advertising; I didn’t know much else graphic designers did. Fast forward to college I came to realize all the different career paths there are. Depending on your specific skill set there is a career for you. If you are into drawing illustration or character design would be a great route. Do you like to layout design? Editorial is perfect for organizing information in an aesthetic layout for printing purposes.IF you like layout design but not print then web design is the way for you (a bit of coding experience goes a long way as well for that one). If you interested in the way packages look then packaging design is the way to go. With so many possibilities it could be hard to figure out with route to take but stick to your style and your skill set and you will find your niche.

But that was too pigholed, so I broadened it to being the graphic designer for movie posters for hollywood and book covers for young adult books. Eventually, I dec….

You catch my drift. The world likes to joke about how guys have commitment issues, but it’s a lot of us creators that actually have that problem.
