I was on aiga.org looking at portfolios of different designers.  I came across one designer who did a job for a magazine called Re-Magazine.  The simplicity of her work prompted me to investigate the re-Magazine website.  The magazine covers different topics in each biannual edition.  One in particular caught my eye which was about different people. Each spread showcases a particular person and what they are about (i.e. a Father, a Mother, Neighbors, etc.) The design consists of a photograph with text indicating who or what you are looking at.  On the opposite side you will find justified text that describes the person.  The design of each spread is clear and clean because of the way the grid was used. A good hierarchy has been established as well.

I was unable to copy a picture of the exact edition I was describing. Below is a sort-of-similar spread to the one I was discussing.

I really like the white space underneath the headline before all the body copy begins. Are the headline and the writer’s name the same point size and weight though?
