What’s up with the new Burger King Commercial?

So I turn on the TV on day and find the Burger King mascot in a track suit and with a Burger King mascot mask over his “face” breaking into a building.  He does a lot of Mission: Impossible-esc moves and come across a few filing cabinets with the McDonald’s golden arches above them.  He reaches in and pulls out the blue prints to a breakfast sandwich.  The King then goes outside and escapes.  The narrator then says that their breakfast sandwich is not original but it is only a dollar.  I am not sure about this commercial.  What I get from this is Burger King is admitting they stole from McDonald but they are cheaper so you should buy theirs instead of McDonald’s.  I mean yes, it is probably a better deal since it is cheaper but what does this say about their morals.  They stole McDonald’s sandwich but they are being honest.  Does this make it okay?  Since eating fast food means no one wins, I’m going to put this down as a weird commercial and leave it at that.

I saw the commercial last night MANY times! It was during South Park; I think they made a mistake and re-run the same burger king commercial three times during one break. Let me tell you, that mask scares me! I don’t understand why they keep on using it at as advertisement… the king is always bad in every commercial!

yeeeah, I saw that commercial too and wondered the same thing. I’m all about honesty, but Burger King has taken that to a whole new level
