Interactive business cards

The left image is a business card that I found interesting. It is a DJ’s business card. That black disc in the middle has two layers and an opening on the top layer. People will turn the disc to see the name, and turn the disc again to see the phone number, just like DJ scratching the disc. Not all business card designs have to be so ingenious, some basic interactive means, like fold lines (see the right image) will naturally drive people to do so. Then at least the business card will stay in people’s hands for a while and people’s attention will stay on it for a little longer.

I totally agree with you, because a good designed business card would last longer in people’s memories. It has a huge impact on the business run. We driven by visual meanings and if the business card has a poor design and it is boring we tend to discard them from wallets. In contrast, if the business card has unique design we would say “ I’ll keep it just in case” just because we like the design of it.
