Found on Behance, here is a series of infographics pertaining to information obtained from a poll in Denmark about social issues. I think they are beautifully executed because they take the boring pie chart and make it into a stunning photograph. They have revamped the bar graph and made it a commentary on the information being presented.

I wish I had larger images to show so you could read the information. But I think just looking at the concept and the layouts serves as an idea generator. Infographics don’t have to be vector images or or predictable. These get the information across without compromising visual interest. Who would give these bits of demographic info a second glance if the photos weren’t present? I sure would care a lot less if that petri dish was a regular pie chart. I think the same goes for most people.

Yeah I think these infographs are a lot more eye grabbing then the ordinary pie charts. It makes sense when it comes to advertisement, not so much in corporate meetings.
That’s very neat and clever. Normally information pie graphs and such are boring and I feel as if most people just glance over it but these actually grasp your attention.
I love the usage of imagery and color to represent an info-graphic. Very smart design that I think all designers should start utilizing when making infographics. Not all infographics have to be the same circle or bar diagram, they can be other objects as well.
