Finally, thank goodness for Hat Trick creative director Garth Howat, he created the new logo for Imperial War Museum that fits well with the brand.
Howat says, ‘The core strategy idea was to express the force of war – it had to look like a forceful identity. This led to the use of the fragmented blocks.’
I really love the new logo; it is moving, unique, and yet simple. I think this logo could be timeless too. The Imperial War Museum is a family of museums with more than one website and location. Their focus is on conflicts on those involving Britain and the Commonwealth from the First World War to the present day. IMW is located in London, Cambridgeshire and Greater Manchester.
This is going to be attached to my GOOD design list for sure!
