I never thought I would be facebook friends with a digital painting artist from ImagineFX magazine that I’m a big fan of. What had happened was that I added a few random artists through this group called “Art Whino,” a DC art gallery based in National Harbor, Maryland. Then one thing led to another, other artist’s request me to be friends, and the cycle went on for a couple days. Not to sound nerdy, but I did this so I can look at other peoples work on their page to give me inspiration and possibly connection. As I look through my friend list I saw his name, Serge Birault, on my friend list. I was happy to know that he was on my list. Everyday he usually post something new he is working on, and it is very inspirational. Serge Birault is a French digital painter with an extraordinary portfolio.
