Jenny B – Japan Dreams -Sand Art – Ryuichi Sakamoto: Forbidden Colours
I always thought sand art is amazing. It is not just a beautiful artwork, but also shows the possibility of the art. Art used to be only pencil and paint for me, but as I continue to learn more about the art, the more I realized that art is not limited by the medium. The first time I saw the sand art, which the entire art work is created only by sand, I was so amused and inspired by the simplicity of the work and yet how delicate it is. I would not have thought about making it an art piece when I saw a bunch of sand lying in front of me. It uses sand to create a wonderland on a plain background. Sand art shows that art is not limited in any form and medium.

Very interesting medium to work with; however it might require a lot attention to preserve the work.
