About is the eponymous blog for the graphic design section of Writing for Artists, a required class for all students enrolled in the graphic design program at the School of Art, George Mason University, Fairfax VA USA.

During the semester, students explore design ethics, business communication, criticism and theory through written exposition. Regular participation in this blog, as well as longer-term research-based writing projects, are class requirements.

Questions about the course or about the blog may be directed to the current instructor, Lynne Scott Constantine, Associate Professor of Interdisciplinary Arts in the School of Art at George Mason University.
